Ignitho Technologies, the US-based digital transformation services provider, is strengthening India’s prowess of global capability centres by opening a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) centre in Chennai. After Bengaluru, this is the company’s second major centre in India and fifth globally.
The new centre will have around 100 employees, and will help clients leverage data and embed AI into business processes. This comes at a time when last-mile AI is a challenge for most enterprises, and the centre will help them overcome it.
India accounts for 45% of global capability centres, according to Deloitte. The sector comprises over 1,300 global organisations, employing 1.3 million people and generating $33.8 billion in annual revenue (as of FY20).
The new AI centre is expected to contribute to this growth, and help Ignitho Technologies become a global leader in digital transformation services. It will provide a range of AI-led digital transformation services, such as automating customer service processes, increasing supply chain efficiency, and improving customer experience, to name a few.
The centre will bring in cost savings, increased efficiency, and improved customer experience for enterprises. Ignitho Technologies will also offer services for cloud-powered AI, robotic process automation, and conversational AI, among others.
The new AI centre from Ignitho Technologies adds to India’s prowess of global capability centres, and is a testament to the country’s expertise in the field. It is expected to be a key player in driving the digital transformation of enterprises in the country.
